| Many interpretations of the same spell and or ritual has been made for "Awakening you spirit". You seriously can awaken your spirit using a spell, I would suggest meditation, and lot of time in nature, feeling your spirit awaken slowly, as it is only asleep.
Awakening your spirit or energy, will be hard work, but it's well worth it, nothing in magic(k) is easy, as easy isn't apart of magic(k).

| You can't "awaken" your spirit with a spell.
I'm not really sure what you mean other than connecting with yourself.
If that is the case then you REALLY can't use a spell for that.
You also can't force it to happen. As you said meditation helps but you can't force it.
Everything takes time.

| You mean the higher self, the totality of our spiritual consciousness? You can actually use a spell to wake your spirit up. Here's the catch. It will take a long time, and you have to keep working at it. What the spell is more likely to do, is bridge the gap, and aid communication. Or, help to awaken your spirit and spiritual abilities faster. There is a catch 22 though. If you create a spell powerful enough, to wake your spirit up faster. Well, some parts of our consciousness are kept locked away for a good reason. If too many walls are broken down at once, yes, your consciousness will be raised. However, there is the risk of it driving you mad.
Think of it like this, you've lived so many lives, and have so many memories in your total spiritual consciousness. In this physical form, we can only handle so much information at once. Imagine our consciousness while here, is a balloon. Fill a balloon up with too much air, and it pops.
I would recommend a sigil created for the sole purpose of getting more in touch with your higher self. Meditate on that sigil, and use it as an aid to further your growth. If you add in some of your blood, it would help a lot. Seeing as that is connected to your life force. Really though, as long as the sigil works well, and is charged well. You should be fine.
Just make sure you take the time to know what you're doing. Yes, it is possible to use magic to speed this process up. What will happen though, is a lot of the emotions and feelings you need to face that are blocking a union with your higher self. Those, will come to the surface.
