| Kyanite is a stone of channeling, altered states, vivid dreams, dream recollection, and visualizations. It gives protection during these states. It brings loyalty, honesty and tranquility, and diminishes anger and confusion.
Kyanite does not keep negative energy in it, and never needs energetic cleansing. It does align and balance all chakras, often very suddenly. Kyanite can remove energy blockages.
Blue kyanite is associated with the throat chakra and is a boost to meditation.
Black kyanite is also a very protective stone, and deflects negative energy.
The above paragraph was written by my friends Denise and Jenelle. I do not know if they got this information from somewhere else.
Jenelle is quoted as saying to me, that Kyanite is “a throat chakra stone, and may be a sign of needing to speak the truth.”.
The below is my own writing.
Some of the things you can be use kyanite for are:
Scrying
Precognitive trances
Premonition trances
Dream interpretation
Help in speaking the truth
To become more calm
Create or strengthen closer relationships
Removal of anger
Removal of confusion
Chakra help
Clear your mind
And many other things.
Kyanite can be a huge help if you are having any problems with the above writings.
In my opinion, kyanite seems like an all-around good stone for someone to carry with them if they are having any problems of any kind. I myself have practiced with it recently, and I would give it 3 and a ½ magick wands out of 5.

| I once decided to test the claim of kyanite not holding negative energy. So, I started producing negative energy, and trying to force it into the kyanite. I could feel it around the kyanite, but not in it. The interesting thing, is this. The negative energy built up density around the kyanite, and once I let go of it. The energy exploded away from the kyanite, like some kind of negative energy grenade. It would be interesting to see what kind of experiences you have trying to force negative energy into kyanite.
