| This forum looked empty so I'll offer a start.
When I was younger, first treding down the magical path actively, I had seen something that chilled my blood.
It was a normal night, during a thunderstorm. I had just layed down to sleep. Everyone else in that house had long since called it a night. Being the night owl I am, I didn't decide to lay down until three am.
I remember pulling my covers over me and feeling something was different. Off. I couldn't explain it but something drew my eyes to the bottom of my bed. The center of my tiny room.
To my utter horror, a man, clearly over six foot stood robbed in solid black. I stared at him, fear possessing me. I didn't know who he was- what he was, but he didn't feel friendly.
I couldn't see a face or even eyes but he was looking at me. I knew that much.
When the lightening flashed outside my window, he was gone.
Needless to say, it was difficult to fall asleep after that.
I looked for information to figure out wo he was- what he was. I never did.
Spirits normally don't bother me or give me the sense of dread he did.
Believe me or not the choice is yours.

| Did you only see this spirit once? Because I tend to see similar shadows fairly often. I can understand the fear of a situation like that because I have experienced several of those. I've grown a bit numb to it now though. If anyone has similar situations involving spirits then I would gladly listen to them.

| I don't have.problems with spirits.
This one felt ominous.
J have seen several that looked similar but never one that could be the same as him.

| I have also seen him several times mostly during storms but I used to see him sometimes when im out walking.

| I see shadow figures every day. They don't seem dangerous, nor do they feel overtly malevolent. Yes I have felt evil from them in some cases, but it is not as intense as other things I have worked with. I would not worry about shadow figures as long as they respect your spiritual space. They are alive, but to us humans, they appear threatening because they look threatening. Shadow figures in my experience are just beyond the human ability to perceive fully, so we see a dark shadow in the place of a living thinking being.
It really depends on your situation if the entity is after you or not, but in most cases it is a curious entity that means no harm to us. Some of us are open enough to perceive them and we see shadows and they can be intimadating, but I would not worry about it unless something bad is associated with it.

| Shadow People are beings who tend to reflect your inner thoughts/being. Are you going down a bad road and he shows up more black than a moonless night? It's a sign. Don't fix it, they keep bugging you until you commit suicide. Happened to a friend of mine.

| There's different forms of beings and they all mean different things to different individuals.
Not all shadow men are something dark and twisted
